Kobus Puller x EasyDig - Saskatchewan
“We have been using it to replace city side of water services. Vac will install the round shoring at curb stop while the crew digs the main and then we use the kobus puller for a trenchless replacement of the water service. Pull new service down thru your shoring and back to the main.
This is one of those things that often would have required us to come back a 2nd day and we are now getting it done in one day with time to spare.” PUl
Pay for EasyDig in 2 - 3 Days - City of Saskatoon
“In the past, a curb stop replacement would have been completed by a 7-9 person crew with over $2M of support equipment and take around 5 hours. We would often end up with a 6x8 or larger hole, sometimes undermining driveways or sidewalks, adding to the remediation expenses. When using your product we are able cut the Crew size and support equipment down to less than half—a hydrovac and operator, as well as two labourers. Due to the design of the shoring you are left with a 50” circle to remediate. An average replacement takes 3 hours. Since the hole size is consistent, the backfill required is consistent, this makes planning these jobs easy. In conjunction with a CO2 line freeze kit to eliminate the need to shut down the water main, issue DWAs (drinking water advisories) and flush, this saves us an additional $1000 per use. We save enough using this system that we cover the initial purchase cost every 4-5 uses, which is potentially only 2-3 days of use.”
Root Bound Excavation - Alberta
“This one we got it in by over sizing the hole a little bit and dripping the shoring in pre-built. Used a Milwaukee electric pole saw to deal with the roots.”
Saved Concrete Pad - British Columbia
“We saved a large stamped concrete pad from significant damage, which would have been almost impossible to repair.”
Retaining Wall - Saskatchewan
We had a hydrant that was at the base of a hill just below 2 retaining walls. A hydrant valve water leak had turned the landscape into a sea of mud. Traditionally a large hoe, big shoring and lots of support equipment would have been used to bail the muck out and stuff in shoring, resulting in the loss of both retaining walls resulting in $30,000 to $40,000 in damages. A 3 man crew with a hydrovac and EasyDig Shoring allowed the valve to be repaired in under 4 hours, with zero sloughing.
Natural Gas Plant - Georgia
“We went 24' down to find bedrock to set a power distribution centre at a natural gas plant. We saved $75,000k in drilling costs, concrete and steel on 54 inch piers.”
Day to Day Repairs - Alberta
“We were unsure how often we would use it at first; but it is now a regular part of our day to day repairs”
Safer and Easier - Minnesota
“Our crews love it and it makes the job safer and easier. We will be looking to get a 5.5ft in the future.”
Between Utilities - Saskatchewan
“16" repair clamp on a 12" main, sunk between two utilities. This water leak was under a busy street with both a high rise apartment and a funeral home with no water. Easydig Shoring and a Hydrovac truck turned a job that would have been a 2 day minimum into something he easily fixed in a day.”
Saves Time and Money - Mississippi
“It saves us lots of time and money and we are wanting to get a 5.5ft as well.”
Use all the Time - Saskatchewan
“We pay for it all the time. We are a small town and have used it at least 13 times this summer”
Designed Trailer - Alberta
We designed a trailer for EasyDig including an enclosed spot for tools, pipes and parts. We have paid for it more than once in the short time we have had it”
