EasyDig Featured in Municipal Sewer & Water’s Saskatoon Cover Story
We’re proud to see EasyDig featured in the September 2026 issue of Municipal Sewer & Water as part of the magazine’s cover story on the City of Saskatoon’s Water & Sewer Maintenance team.
The feature, “A New Way Forward,” looks at how Saskatoon is challenging long-standing practices, improving productivity and finding more efficient ways to maintain its water and sewer infrastructure.
EasyDig is highlighted as one of the innovations helping make that change possible.
A Smaller Approach to Curb Stop Repairs
After seeing a contractor use EasyDig’s round aluminum trench-shoring system, Saskatoon tested the system on approximately two dozen repairs before acquiring its own units.
Today, crews pair hydrovac with the EasyDig Circular Trench Cage System to focus excavation around the repair area. Municipal Sewer & Water reports that the approach has helped reduce excavation footprints, minimize surface restoration and allow smaller crews to complete the work safely.
The magazine even dedicates a section of the feature to the application:
“EasyDig Shrinks the Excavation Profile.”

What we particularly appreciate about the feature is that it isn’t simply a story about new equipment.
It’s about being willing to question “the way we’ve always done it” and find better ways to complete routine municipal work.
